Ever since the release of the100/100xl i wanted one. My arsenal is complete with IRT reels and other brand of similar construction but the industry did not offer a machined reel in the micro family. The 100 is a perfect fit, in reality most of my opportunistic fishing is done using a 500/1000 size reel. I am satisfied with the 100 design and performance. Plus it packs a punch the drag is solid. Already caught juvenile Tarpon, Snooks, Peacock Bass, Largies, and an array of SoFla exotics. I am glad i pulled the trigger on this one.
Had the opportunity too watch my reel being built , even had the chance to pick my colors, really neat experience. Tim Horbal is great to work with. Get one made for yourself today.
Have not had opportunity to use this one yet UTCS knowing how much I have used my other IRT reels I will be pleased with this one too
I am proud to be a dealer. In my opinion they are the best. The customer service ,warranty and maintenance program are the best .
So far, the reel is fine. I was disappointed in that no owner's manual was included. You provide reel grease but no lubrication points or frequencies.
These reels are great. I’ve purchased reels of similar value and the come in a cardboard box. The cases with reel line and tool was unexpected.

Van Stall, Visser, Stella ,etc. When they come to my shop for a custom rod see my display and I explain the warranty and service let alone the custom options they are sold.

Everything feels super smooth. I have the 200 and 300 series already so I know IRT’s work well and are super durable. Love that it’s MADE IN USA!!!!!
